The app itself
Hourly runs entirely on your machine. It has no account, no server, and no cloud sync. Every entry is saved in a file on your own disk and, if you choose a notes folder such as an Obsidian vault, also written into that day's note. Nothing you type in the check-in window is sent anywhere.
This website
This landing page uses PostHog (EU-hosted) to understand which sections get read and whether the download link gets clicked — page views and button clicks, nothing tied to your identity. We do not sell data, and no analytics run inside the desktop app itself.
If you leave an email
The vote form and the "lock in free Pro" form on the homepage ask for an email address. It's used only to tell you when the thing you voted for ships, or to honour free Pro for early installs — nothing else, unless you tick the box asking for occasional product updates. You can ask to have it deleted at any time.
If you send feedback
The feedback form(also reachable from the app's tray menu) stores your email and message so we can read it and reply. It's used only to follow up on what you sent — nothing else. You can ask to have it deleted at any time.
